Who we are
Wickham Woods is a wonderful place to live. It is much more than just a collection of winding streets and lovely houses. There is a strong sense of community. The Wickham Woods Neighborhood Association strives to strengthen and enrich the relationships between neighbors.
From the regularly scheduled activities like the Playgroup, Pizza Nights, Book Club, and Wine Night to the annual events such as the Ice Cream Social, Block Party, Halloween Party, Around the World House Crawl, Easter Egg Hunt and Progressive Dinner, our gatherings provide many opportunities to meet and stay connected with the neighbors.
Family Events
Annual Block Party
Usually the 3rd Saturday in September, it is our most well attended family event. We close off a few of our neighborhood streets, play fun games, have bounce houses, lots of food and drinks, a DJ and tons of laughs.
Playgroup
We have a playgroup for toddlers and babies that meets once a month at members homes. This is a great way to meet other parents and children and make new friends.

Our annual kickoff to summer, neighbors gather to celebrate the end of the school year with lawn games and ice cream.

Throughout the Spring & Summer neighbors gather at a host’s house for pizza and popsicles (typically Friday evenings). Children have a great time playing with each and parents get to socialize with one other while supervising their children.

Around Easter, we fill hundreds of eggs with goodies and play a giant egg hunt for kids of all ages.

A magician, music, food and drinks make for a fantastic Halloween party for the kids. Every year Wickham Woods children gather together for pizza and fun before heading out to trick or treat. This is always a fantastic event and so much fun to see all of the children dressed up in costume.

Our local volunteer fire department brings Santa to our neighborhood and distributes gifts and candy to our families.
Adult Events
Sip & Stroll
Similar to a pub crawl, but we do it Wickham Woods Style. Members walk from house to house sampling food and beverages.
Adult BYOB
We typically hold 2 events per year where the adults bring a beverage of their choice. Theme ideas: Chili cook-off, March Madness, Margarita Mixer, Garden Party, Tailgate, etc.

A neighborhood book club where members take turns hosting. This group typically meets about once a month and always has interesting and fun conversations about their books.

Monthly wine parties where members take turns hosting and choose a theme for the night. The theme is always centered around the wine and guests bring all of the food and wine.

This is usually in April and we have an adult cocktail party to welcome new families in a smaller group setting.

A cocktail party with food and dancing at an off-site location.

A new tradition, our neighborhood goes to nearby Noe Pond for a night of friendly competition.
